Hootie Hoo Owls,
I'd like to thank Ms. Rogers from Carpenter School for her help and inspiration to make my own Bitmoji Classrooms.
Bitmoji classrooms are interactive "slides" that contain links to other resources (videos, books, strategy demos, etc.). You've likely seen a ton of them around.
My hope for the Bitmoji classrooms is to give TCS hybrid & remote students access to Mr. T's strategies in a more student-friendly way. Adults at home and teachers could use these rooms to facilitate student regulation/movement breaks/skill instruction.

I have "rooms" students can visit with links to information, videos, and strategies all related to my Counseling program. You will see rooms for:
- Welcome/Ask Mr. T (student self-referral or parent referral form), introduction to the Counselor, popular strategies.
- Calming Strategies (a room full of links to interactive calming strategies)
- Movement/Brain break (energizing) Strategies (a room full of energizing or movement-based strategies)
- Kindness Learning & Library pages (view read-a-louds and other videos that teach about Kindness)
- Friendship (learn about friendship and/or view book read-a-louds)
- Growth Mindset (at least 3 different rooms to view on this topic, will be HUGE during the remote learning process)
- Manners & Behavior (a whole room and a library with friendly reminds on these topics)
Also, if you're looking for support with managing remote learning for your child, send me and email or give me a call and we can talk about a local support group for parents managing their child's remote education.
Lastly, check out Common Sense Media for great Remote Learning tips and tricks for Parents/Guardians
